I wrote this because I seen more and more people gambling on a regular basis. And I know the feeling of losing your money and feeling down, and thinking how unlucky I can be. Gambling as became a big business, and it's taking us by storm. People are spending 1/4 to 1/2 of there income on gambling (gamblers). And on some cases as much all there income.
Most people in the past gamble once or twice a year in Vegas, but now there are state run gambling and Indian casino's. People are becoming addicted and loosing there life saving and there homes, just to have fun!
I'm 40 years old, I've been gambling for over 20 years, and I seen people so addicted to gambling they would play machine or tables for over 24 hours, they did not sleep or eat. I worked in a casino
and ladies would drop young kids to the video game room while they played there video gambling games till 3:00 in the mourning. What makes us so addicted to gambling? Gambling can be so addictive we lose all "sense". Gambling is a high, and when loosing and it becomes comblusive.
Gambling to me was away of making extra cash, I don't enjoy gambling. It is so hard to win against the casino's. The games are design to for you to loose. Always remember this, no matter if you winning that day. Because that's how you start the gambling roller coaster." Winning can be the worst thing to a player" When you gamble you would like to win, some days you may invest lot of money, just to loose it. And some days your first your win over $1,000. We would all like to be a consistent player, know one likes that roller coaster.
THE WORST THING
I talk about the worst thing to do is win! Why because in our stupid little brain we think we can continue to win. When we gamble and start to win we like to gamble longer thinking it may be my day. Greed in gambling is strong and hard to control. Greed is your worst enemy! So when you win, learn to be happy, quit for the day and enjoy the extra money you made. When most people win in the casino's they bet a larger amount of money, you began to lose all aspect of money. That's when the roller coaster being, when continue to gamble and loose your winning, you continue to bet a larger amount per spin or bet, then you go home broke! The next day you being the cycle all over again. This can be the start of gambling addiction.
